Course description:

Sustainability (or non-financial) reporting has become widely adopted by large publicly-traded companies in recent years, and investors are increasingly factoring this information into their investment decisions. The sustainability landscape includes everything from ratings and rankings on environmental, social and governance (ESG) indices, standard reporting frameworks such as the Global Reporting Initiative (GRI) and the Carbon Disclosure Project (CDP), and grassroots efforts by companies to embed sustainability into their culture.

about our speaker...

Barb Brown, Principal and Co-owner of BrownFlynn, will discuss the basics and benefits of sustainability reporting, ESG ratings and rankings, the advantages of different sustainability reporting frameworks such as the GRI, and why investors care whether a company is reporting its sustainability performance or not. BrownFlynn is a corporate responsibility and sustainability consulting firm, and the first U.S.-certified training partner of the GRI.
